In today's world we have information right at our fingertips. We can find answers to anything within a matter of seconds. I have learned that sometimes too much information is just too much!
When it comes to diet and exercise, there are many theory's. What one person says, immediately contradicts what another person says. Low-carb, no carb, paleo, caveman, organic, high fat, all fruit, vegan, vegetarian, whole foods, no sugar, pills, shakes, prepackaged!!!! It is no wonder that we have such screwed up ideas of what to eat.
There is a new eating disorder called orthorexia where you are scared of eating certain foods. WHAT!!!! What are we doing to ourselves???
I will agree that our food today is NOT what our Grandparents ate. There are a lot of freaky things in our foods today. But I think we need to take a deep breath and RELAX!!!
Read labels, eat as much REAL FOODS as you can, find what works for YOUR OWN BODY!!!
Don't do what Susie does, or what jane told you worked for HER. DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU!!!!!
Pray about it, think about it, and choose SOMETHING you can do FOR A LIFETIME!!! Can you honestly say you can NEVER eat sugar again?? OR is it better to say I will limit how much I indulge???
ENJOY LIFE AND TAKE CARE OF YOU! Stress is just as bad as eating poorly!
Do the best you can and give the rest to God!
