What you are worth.

I have been contemplating a lot lately. Sorry for the lack of posting.

I have been so glad for all that I have learned this year! The world we live in is getting worse and worse. Lines are blurred, beliefs are challenged, and wicked appears to be good.

My role as a mother and daughter of God has become so clear to me this last year. I feel more sure of my worth and my job here on earth.

My most important role in this world is to be a disciple of Christ, and be the best mother I can.

My influence, teaching, love, and example is the most important thing I can focus on right now.

Some of my biggest lessons are:

1. I am a daughter of God. He loves me and Created me and made me to be exactly who I am supposed to be.

2. The atonement is not only for sins. Jesus Christ bore ALL our afflictions, pain, sorrow, sickness, and grief. IF IT MATTERS TO YOU IT MATTERS TO HIM. He will take away our burden if we just ask. Surrender to him, give it to him, admit that you can do nothing of yourself. He will release you from ANY prison you are in.

3. My children will mimic what I do. I am their role model. They will do what I do. I need to SHOW them what is important, not just tell them.

4.I am not my body. I am a spirit first and foremost. We lived before we came, and we will live after we leave our mortal bodies. Our bodies are great gifts from a loving heavenly father, but they are NOT who we are! It is a vehicle for our spirits. DON'T define your worth by your weight, beauty, or size!

5.My only job in regards to my body is to take care of it. Put good fuel in it. Don't abuse it with junk or overeating to numb emotion. Give it water and sleep. Exercise it. I know I have NO control over how quickly I will lose weight, but I will take care of it the best I can.

6. I can overcome any weakness I have through determination and hard work. Goals are accomplished DAILY, Hourly, and by the minute. Good choices stack on each other and create success.

I am going to focus on two things in preparation for the Christmas season,
1. Living so the spirit can constantly be my companion.
-clean home
-watch good tv
-listen to good music
-be kind
-serve others
-read scriptures/say prayers
-be around uplifting people.
2. Have an attitude of gratitude.
-look for the good
-say thank you more
-say prayers of gratitude
-count my blessings
-appreciate what I have
-use our money wisely

I want to feel close to the savior this holiday season and help my children know the true meaning of Christmas.

Favorites!!!

I have not done this for awhile, so here goes.

You know I am obsessed with bars!! Here are a few favorites.

Pure bar. These are SO good. Price but good. they are treats for me since they are about $2.00 a bar. They are EVEN BETTER than LaraBars. The brownie one is HEAVEN! Tastes like a brownie! Great snack on the go!

Speaking of Larabar, I still love these. Not all flavors are good, and honestly I waited a long time to try this one because a lot of the fruit flavors are POTENT!!! This is really good. Mild on the blueberry not too tart. YUMM!!!

You thought I would leave Trader Joe's off the list? NEVER! These baby's are tasty! Another treat for sure!

These are addictive....But I think 1 serving is like 100 chips so what the hey! I love the siracha, but they are HOT! Original is yummy too!

This popcorn is so YUMMY!!! 35 calories per serving? YES PLEASE!

These are so moist! 365 organic fruit strips. Sometimes carrying real fruit isn't an option. I keep these babies in my purse/diaper bag for a sweet treat.

This is my favorite bread! Open faced sandwiches are wonderful!!!

What are your favorite foods???

Fit Fab Friday!!!

Hey! Hey! Holla!!!

How are you all this fine day???

So, let's be real shall we???

In my 90 day challenge I lost a total of 13 lbs. I don't know how many inches because I lost my sheet and truthfully it doesn't matter!

I had a great summer and finished it feeling accomplished and proud of myself and the changes I have made.

Since September started, things have been very fly by the seat of your pants!

I have been sick, getting kids here, Rob there, lunches, and errands, and mom stuff oh my!

So, I have been off track and I feel it!

Life is busy, and hectic, and I CANNOT go into auto pilot!!!

Auto-pilot= frozen food, drive thrus, little fruits and veggies, quick fixes, and me feeling like junk!!!

I have been missing Jazzercise more often then not, like I have only been 4 times in the last 13 days.....

NO BUENO!!!

I feel it. I feel sluggish, and tired, and floppy....

My food choices have been less then stellar and I usually end up juicing veggies before they go bad rather than eating fresh live food!!!

Eat live food, feel alive.

Eat crap, feel like CRAP!!!

So it is time to get back on track!

THE PLAN (you know in case you wanna follow along)

wake up and drink lemon water - Clean the liver and WAKE UP!!!

Breakfast- Green Juice/Smoothie with an open faced egg sandwich or pb toast with bananas, or oatmeal with fruit.

Snack- Protein shake and all natural bar and fruit

Lunch-Open faced sandwich, salad, wrap etc

Snack- veggies and hummus with a hard boiled egg, jerky string cheese and fruit, trail mix, yogurt with berries, fruit and nut/nutbutter, or smoothie

Dinner- Protein and veggies combo (endless possibilities)

treat-dark chocolate, yogurt and berries, SMALL frozen treat

This is my plan stan! Follow if you wanna, don't if you don't!

I have a kindergartner!!!

There are no words. I am SO excited for her, but SO not ready for her to be gone all day!!!

Ava tested into the ELP or Extended Learning Program. It is a program for gifted and talented children. We are SO proud of her. She will do great! She has a love of learning and is very smart. I will miss having my buddy here. She goes full day just like the big kids. I love my little pumpkin!
